Food Safety (HACCP Level 1 + 2)
Food Safety training educates learners on the safe preparation and storage of food. Knowledge gained from the course can be very fitting to a wide range of areas in life.

Who:
There is no stipulations on who can attend the course as long students are physically capable of carrying out skills gained. The instructor largely tailors to suit health/social care settings.
Instructor:
The course instructor is Tanya Mullins. Tanya is a Team Leader in our Day Service here at Kingsriver. She has over 30 years experience in the social care sector, across a number of roles.
Where:
The course will be delivered in person at our centre in Ennisnag, Stoneyford, Co. Kilkenny.
How Long:
The course is 3 hours long and runs from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Assessment:
You will be required to complete an MCQ exam. The pass mark for this exam is 70%.
Certification:
On successful completion of the course students will receive a HACCP Level 1 & 2 certificate. This certificate is valid for 2 years from date of completion.
